Salary or Pay Range: $3,275.86 - $6,026.82 Biweekly
The Value Analysis Coordinator/Strategic Sourcing plays a key role in leading value analysis initiatives that support clinical and operational stakeholders in driving cost-effective, evidence-based purchasing decisions without compromising patient care. This position partners closely with physicians, clinicians, and cross-functional leaders to guide product evaluations, utilization reviews, and standardization efforts across the organization.
This position is responsible for facilitating decision-making within established governance structures. This role drives the coordination and execution of product reviews, trials, and conversions, while proactively identifying opportunities for standardization and optimization.
Through advanced data analysis, stakeholder engagement, and project leadership, this position delivers actionable insights, supports contract alignment, and contributes to measurable cost savings and performance improvement initiatives. This role serves as a key liaison between clinical, operational, and supply chain teams, ensuring that value analysis strategies are effectively implemented and sustained.
Minimum Qualifications - For full consideration, applicants are encouraged to upload license and/or certification if required of the position
• Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2–5 years of relevant professional experience in value analysis or strategic sourcing
• Experience leading value analysis initiatives and/or supporting sourcing strategy alignment.
• Experience managing projects and coordinating implementation across multiple stakeholders.
• Experience analyzing and gathering utilization, spend, or operational data to support decision-making, cost management, or performance improvement initiatives.
• Knowledge of value analysis processes, strategic sourcing practices, and supply chain operations.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and influence across diverse stakeholder groups, including physicians and clinical leaders in a clear and concise manner verbally and in writing.
• Demonstrated ability to independently prioritize work, manage projects, and execute within established frameworks.
• Strong organizational, meeting facilitation, and decision-making skills.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial and operational data and develop actionable insights.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities, policies, and organizational needs in a fast-paced environment.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and data analysis tools.
Preferred Qualifications
• California Driver's License
• Experience in a healthcare, hospital, or academic medical center environment supporting supply chain, value analysis, or operational functions.
• Experience working with clinical products, medical devices, or hospital operations, including familiarity with regulatory, contracting, or reimbursement considerations.
