OverviewSt. Luke's Health System is seeking a Food Service Purchasing Specialist to join our team. Unit/Position SummaryFood Services Purchasing Specialist, under limited supervision, is responsible for the ordering of food, supplies, and/or equipment for Food Services. Follows through with vendors on shipment and delivery.Responsibilities Receives and unload freight. Verify items received with purchase order, ensure proper temperatures of delivered foods and correct products/brand received. Conducts inventory to ensure an adequate level of supplies is maintained. Rotate, date and discard all food products per standards. Inspects products received for quality and quantity to ensure adherence to specifications.
