Job Summary: The Associate Clinical Supply Specialist will process job orders generated from nursing staff for supplies and equipment. Responsible for answering phones, annotate supply request and deliver supply request in an accurate and timely manner. Will assemble crash carts and airway bags as needed for replenishment. Process requests generated from nursing staff for supplies / equipment. Will be responsible for performing tasks associated with the dispensing of medical-surgical supplies, patient care equipment and medical implants. Responsible for ensuring appropriate supplies are purchased, received, inventory levels are maintained, and patient charges are captured. The supply technician is also responsible for conducting physical inventories of all supply areas according to the defined schedule.

Our team is comprised of almost 300 employees who strive to ensure efficient and successful behind-the-scenes operations for the hospital system.
Through Vanderbilt Health Supply Chain Solutions we help hospitals, practices and health systems achieve clinical integration in their supply chains to increase efficiency, reduce cost and improve accuracy of scheduling and delivery of medical supplies.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provides materials and equipment requested in a timely manner.
- Assembles carts for distribution.
- Ensures supplies are in a clean and safe working condition and environment. Maintains adequate supply in storage locations.
- Cleans, prepares, and tests specialty beds or equipment for safety.
- May capture patient charges for supplies.

Shift Hours:
- Shift - Monday - Friday: 7:30am - 4:00pm
