This position has responsibility for strategic direction and leadership of Supply Chain logistics and Materials Management support operations at the acute care campuses, and shared services central warehouse locations of MemorialCare. The position is accountable for leadership and team talent management and succession planning for all acute care campus-based Supply Chain operations departments and support functions.

Principal Duties and Responsibilties:

1. Provides strategic direction and leadership for the Supply Chain Materials Management supporting acute care campuses and central warehouse locations.
2. Responsible for mentoring, development and succession planning of Supply Chain Materials Management leadership and teams. 
3. Responsible for Materials Management operational and capital budget planning, project management, and performance, including areas fully supported. 
4. Responsible for key Supply Chain service vendor and onsite vendor management at the acute care campuses. 
5. Accountable for operational and financial management of the entire inventory from receipt to issue; oversees performance and ensures the controls necessary to maintain accurate and timely replenishment and reporting integrity. 
6. Provides expertise, oversight and support for all inventory management systems employed by MemorialCare as it relates to optimization of point-of-use systems within acute care and central warehouse locations. 
7. Provides oversight and support for inventory conversion and/or implementation activities in collaboration with Supply Chain and VAT teams and serves as key contributor to logistical component of Shortage/Resiliency strategy and tactical plans.
