Summary

Responsible for the procurement of supplies, equipment and services from vendors.
Evaluates purchase requisitions for completeness, contract compliance and conformity to Tenet policies and procedures.
Converts approved requisitions into a compliant purchase order.
Interacts with customers to assure needs are meet.
Has knowledge of commonly-used practices and procedures within Supply Chain procurement.
Applies advanced technical knowledge and expertise within a service line to ensure compliance and identify best practices within the service line.
Reports to the Supply Chain director, supervisor or manager.
Performs a variety of tasks as assigned.

High school or equivalent

Experience

5 yrs experience in Supply Chain
