The VA Central California Health Care System (VACCHCS) is currently recruiting for a full time Pharmacy Technician with Pharmacy Service, located at the Fresno Division. The Pharmacy Technician-Procurement provides procurement support for the Pharmacy Service at VACCHCS. Responsible for ongoing inventories, procurement and proper storage of drug products and pharmaceutical supplies. Utilizes basic accounting and budgetary skills to assure inventories are maintained in the most cost-effective manner, and that purchases are within the pharmacy service budget. Prepares, controls, and reviews procurement documents and reports. Contacts vendors to obtain status of orders and expedite delivery when required and resolve a variety of shipment, payment, or other discrepancies. Functions as resource person to all members of the Pharmacy Staff regarding inventory status and control. Work Schedule: Various Shifts Financial Disclosure Report: Not required
