Performs routine Â duties involving the use ofÂ POS/Cash register and secure standard procedures to accept and keep records of all types of transactions for food and beverages in the cafeteria. Secondary, performs basic food preparation for food service and attends customer during breakfast and lunch. Completes all Food safety and sanitation that is a requirement for all agencies compliance.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
1.Opens and/or closes cafeteria, Sets up monies and operates cash register using established procedures. Serves customers as needed.
2.Performs restocking of cafeteria food and supplies for customer service. Performs basic cold food preparation and assembly such salad and sandwich preparation, yogurt parfaits, andÂ cutting cakes and pies.
3.Completes sales transaction using current prices and updates daily menu.Â
4.Completes daily sales report and verifies and deposits cash deposit with supervisor.
5.Performs sanitation duties by sweeping and mopping of work areas and cleaning service equipment..
